GSC Architects Joins Forces with Method Architecture to Expand Texas Presence

GSC Architects has served the Central Texas region for over 40 years. Both GSC and Method Architecture are committed to delivering quality architectural services with a focus on sustainability and ego-free, client-centric design solutions. Together, Method will now feature more than 70 employees, including 12 registered architects and 6 registered interior designers, located in four offices across Texas.

Founded in 1978 in Austin, GSC Architects has deep roots  in Central Texas and a robust body of work. Led by Principal and CEO Tom Cornelius, GSC Architects has a diverse portfolio including mixed-use, corporate interiors, education, public, and science and technology spaces. GSC has recently completed several noteworthy projects in the Austin Area, including the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, the Austin Continuum, and SHI Austin Headquarters. Modern, sustainable, and inspirational, SHI Austin is a 250,000-square-foot, LEED Gold office building featuring a functional mix of open office space, daylit amenity spaces, green hill country views, and carefully chosen materials.

A certified Minority-Owned Business, Method Architecture has been serving Central Texas since 2016. Method is licensed in 27 states and is a full-service architectural firm specializing in a variety of commercial project types including industrial, mixed-use, breweries, distilleries, and healthcare as well as public and K-12 projects. Method has a strong portfolio of industrial work in the region including Ruvati, a 57,000-square-foot, build-to-suit office, warehouse, and showroom in Round Rock. Additionally, the firm completed the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, a $19M design-build project for US Fish and Wildlife in Austwell, Texas.
