SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

We are currently searching for a Senior Interior Designer with strong leadership skills and extensive project management experience.  You will join a creative, collaborative and welcoming team of interior designers to work on a broad range of commercial, educational, civic and technology-driven projects in Austin and beyond.  This is a great opportunity for an experienced designer to take on responsibility for challenging projects and inspire creativity and enhanced productivity among the interiors team.  You will also work closely with clients, contribute to new business proposals, and help ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong leadership: you are comfortable collaborating in all aspects of design and leading the project development and teams involved from project inception to completion.
  • Project management: you provide an exceptional experience for your client and team throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Demonstrated work experience designing interior spaces, including consultations, renovations, space, planning and new construction.
  • Industry Knowledge: You possess a deep understanding of contract documents, specifications, knowledge of design, design documentation, national and local building codes, and accessibility requirements.
  • Relevant construction observation and construction administration experience.
  • Creative talent, imagination and eye for design.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You work cohesively with a team of architects, engineers, interior designers and landscape architects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a four-year college or university .
  • Experience: Licensed Interior Designer.
  • REVIT experience for the purpose of the team management and quality control.

 

LICENSED ARCHITECT

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable Licensed Architect with Quality Assurance and Project Management Experience.  You will join a talented, collaborative and welcoming team to work on a broad range of commercial, educational, civic and technology-driven projects in Austin and beyond.  The ideal candidate will be organized, creative and pragmatic with a strong foundation in design concepts and principles, practices and construction.  You will communicate and collaborate with senior management, clients, staff, consultants, vendors and contractors.  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect to take on responsibility for challenging projects and a solid platform for personal career growth.

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • Project management expertise: you control and guide a project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design. You lead the preparation of information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, equipment, estimated costs and construction time.
  • Project Design: you direct activities and collaborate with the team engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
  • Creative talent, imagination and eye for design. You develop fresh ideas, keeping in mind the Client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact.
  • Project specifications: you compile and keep within budgets and timelines.
  • Quality assurance: You ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
  • Construction Services: you perform various services including field visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings and preparing record drawings as directed.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You work cohesively with a team of architects, engineers, interior designers and landscape architects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a four-year college or university .
  • Experience: Registered Architect with 8+ years industry experience.
  • REVIT experience and proficiency.
