GSC Architects provided rapid-paced, budget-friendly, modern and innovative tenant work within a recently renovated structure (5202 E. Ben White) for multiple departments of the City of Austin, including Human Resources, Code Enforcements, Public Art, Economic Development, Inspection and Corridors Program. Each of these departments required their own unique identity in terms of programming and aesthetic. Design was focused on security, as well as the sensitive nature of the work performed within each department. GSC Architects cleverly created fresh modern spaces by expertly purchasing large quantities of cost-efficient materials and incorporating them many different ways. These 2018 projects are also strong examples of departmental programming and finish out concurrent with a significant building renovation.
