Originally AMD Building 2 housing a late 1970’s semi-conductor wafer fabrication plant, we transformed this old, tired, dark space into a contemporary condo office shell with ample natural light, while still holding true to the original industrial charm. Working with Riverside Resources, GSC provided solutions for multiple renovation stages, and the tenant finish out for all current and planned tenants. We left the floors raw with accents of stained concrete, exposed structure, emphasized the existing steel elements, incorporated the existing brick, and added expansive floor to ceiling glazing.
Totaling over 250,000 SF this project is destined to be home for a food service plant, call center, large offices for the City of Austin, Austin Energy and the new home for the Mexican Consulate of Austin.
